What our Clients are Saying

“We have been extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to be personally introduced to Wendy, the owner of The Pet Cottage by our friend, Saras. Our life changed the day Wendy arrived at our house to pick up two crates we no longer needed. While outside talking, with the puppies nearby, she opened the back of her car and gave them each water – in their own driveway. She had a pouch, with “high value” treats attached around her waist and she instantly had Molly (right) and Loggy (left) listening to her with positive reinforcement.Since that first day, Wendy returned multiple times to walk with us, together with a permanent canine resident of her home – and then picked up Molly and Loggy for an afternoon at the Pet Cottage in preparation for their one week stay while Steve and I were away.

Molly & Loggy spent an entire week, not only having fun, but training 100% of the time. Wendy said, “Every moment is a training moment” – and we noticed a difference the second we returned from our trip! I was completely at ease while away, knowing full well that my babies were in a nurturing and safe environment in a home setting – and also learning manners.

I couldn’t believe the amount of “non-food” contained in a bag of very expensive brand dog food! Yes, the food we feed now and the treats are more expensive but is the same difference in us eating fatty, non-nutritional foods – it’s a fact that those are not good for us – same for the furry members of our family. They are worth every penny. Molly was really putting on weight (as Labs are known to) and has already trimmed down after a few weeks on a better diet.

What Wendy does in her work for the Pet Cottage is such a blessing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :))
